At Jackie, we know that so many of our lovely lady subscribers work in a creative space in some capacity. Whether you are a content curator, an artist, a stylist or a photographer; the list goes on and on, we believe that there is always room for improvement. We encourage our women to become more and more valuable within their craft. Here are Jackie’s 5 favorite resources for creatives.

5 Resources for Creative Women

  1. Skillshare: Do you love creating, and want to improve your craft? Is there something that you have always wanted to explore, but haven’t had the capacity to do so? Skillshare might be the answer you’ve been looking for. Not only does it allow for teaching, practice and feedback, but it allows you to network and connect with other people who are exploring the same topics as you. With lessons on everything from marketing tactics to lifestyle photography, Skillshare is an amazing tool that we think could truly help you embrace your best self.

  2. Messy: Have you considered starting a podcast but don’t know where to begin? Consider signing up with Messy. They allow you to create, record, edit, publish your show and even get analytics as you go. They keep it easy, simple and very affordable. Consider taking your brand to a whole new level with this new and exciting podcasting capacity.

  3. Tailwind: If you are active on Pinterest, for personal use or especially with your business, consider joining Tailwind. They allow you to schedule your pins, creating more content with a more engaged audience. Just when you thought Tailwind couldn’t sound any better, they allow you to connect with other people in your industry with a feature called Tribes. Tailwind Tribes allow you to find people who are pinning similar material as you. This creates a sort of camaraderie, where you pin each other’s content and have your work featured by more and more pinners. Sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it?

  4. The Goal Digger Podcast: If you are a creative lady, looking for inspiration, daily motivation and love that kickass, lady boss attitude, tune in to Jenna Kutcher’s Goal Digger Podcast. Jackie ladies are go getters. They don’t sit around waiting for their dreams to come true. This podcast feeds into that mentality. You won’t regret giving this podcast a listen. Here is our current favorite podcast, on the topic of finding balance while being a mom and a business owner. We can’t get enough!

  5. Calm: A large component of putting your very best creative work forward, is setting aside time to relax and reflect. Calm is an app and website that understands the benefit of taking time to mediate and clear up some headspace. Maybe you are one to keep a gratitude journal, or you are someone who is naturally good at setting aside time to rejuvenate your mind. If you fall into that category, keep on keeping on. If this is something you struggle with, consider investing in an app like Calm to help you set aside the time to relax, so you can put your best creative effort forward each and every day.
